“Welcome,” is such a simple word, but profound in meaning when spoken with sincerity and at key moments in our lives. There are often times when we feel or truly find that we are not welcome. Perhaps we aren’t welcome in our community any longer because our words or our beliefs are rejected. Perhaps we aren’t welcome in this world because disease threatens to take our life. Perhaps we aren’t welcome in our own skin as addictions consume our minds and our bodies. And perhaps we aren’t welcome in our own thoughts as grief renders every other thought powerless to provide hope.
Here at Steele Haven, it is our belief, and more importantly, it is our experience that hope can be found in the midst of such unwelcome times.
Please take a moment to read more about what we are doing and what we hope to accomplish in the years to come here at Steele Haven and always know, that you are welcome!
